How badges work and when your link is followed
Display our badge on your site to publish a free listing. Learn how we check it and when the badge link is followed. A free listing also needs a complete founder profile.

Displaying the badge
Every listing can carry our badge. Visit your listing's badge page to choose your design—pick a shape, select light or dark, and set the size. Copy the HTML snippet provided and paste it onto your website. The badge points back to your listing here on Velzio Launch.
Publishing your free listing
Free listings require the badge to go live. Your founder profile must be complete as well before a free listing goes live. Our crawler looks for a link to your listing page somewhere on your website. Any badge design satisfies this. Once we find it, your listing publishes. We re-check every 7 days. If the badge vanishes, your listing returns to a waiting state and you receive an email. Restore the badge and your listing re-publishes automatically.
Link status
The badge link begins as nofollow. Our systems assess your site's Domain Rating (measured by Ahrefs) and run spam checks continuously. When your Domain Rating reaches 20 or above and passes our checks, the link switches to dofollow. Below that threshold or if checks flag concerns, it remains nofollow.
Paid launches receive a dofollow link to your website on the listing page itself. Free listings show a nofollow link.
Earned badges
Launch of the Week, Launched and Verified badges appear on your listing when you earn them. No action needed. A Featured badge is bought with a paid Featured period; it is not won.
Questions people ask
