How it started
At zinndigital.com, Neil Lock is building the platform of his company, Zinn Digital®. Neil was a child when he started on the family farm's computer systems, the Commodore 64 and the ZX Spectrum, and he was about twenty when technology became his profession. After more than 25 years of building software, search and hosting, he is bringing his hosting, search and AI work together in a single product: Zinn Digital®.
The idea
Zinn Digital® is AI-first hosting and SEO in one platform. The platform is published in 58 languages, and each customer runs everything from one dashboard in their own language and currency.
What he is building
The hosting comes in two lines, Footprint-Free Hosting for SEOs and Mainstream Hosting for managed WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, static and Node sites. Every site runs on infrastructure that Zinn Digital® builds, tunes and owns end to end: it is the operator, not a reseller. Isolation comes first: every site has its own kernel-level cage, with a proactive firewall and malware scanning on watch. Speed comes from a LiteSpeed full-page cache, a per-site Redis object cache and the CDN edge, coordinated by smart auto-purge. There is a 24/7 AI support agent with real functions, built by Neil, alongside a spec-first API, generated SDKs, a CLI, a Terraform provider, signed webhooks and an MCP server. Agencies can resell the hosting under their own brand.
