The paid leaderboard
The billboard is a distinct leaderboard at /leaderboards/billboard. It orders listings by the total money their owners have contributed, in US dollars. The page is clearly labelled as a paid ranking, so visitors know what they are seeing.
How contributions work
You set the amount you wish to contribute. The minimum contribution is $5. Each time you add funds, they accumulate with your previous total. Your listing stays on the board for as long as it has contributed funds. The leaderboard updates to reflect the new order.
How to add your listing
Adding it from your account needs a live listing. Sign in and visit /account/listings. Find your listing and select "Upgrades and extras". From there, enter your contribution amount under Billboard. You may also make a contribution when you first submit your listing, at the plan step.
Why it is separate
The billboard is its own system. It has no connection to community votes, Launch of the Week, verification status or Domain Rating. These are all ranked and labelled independently. Promo codes do not apply to billboard contributions.
Questions people ask
- Will a billboard contribution influence my votes?
- No. Community voting and the billboard are separate rankings. Your contribution changes your position on the billboard only, not on any vote-based leaderboard.
- What if I contribute more later?
- Your new contribution adds to your existing total. Your listing rank updates to match your new total.
- Do I need to do anything else to appear?
- Adding it from your account needs a live listing. Once it is, you can contribute from /account/listings or during submission.
