Reporting your monthly revenue
One self-reported revenue figure per company: where to enter it, how it is shown and how to take it down.
Updated
In short
A listing can carry one revenue number: what the company took in during one calendar month, in US dollars. Owners and managers of a listing can enter the figure. Leaving it out is fine. Visitors can tell it is your figure, because it is marked self-reported.
Step by step
Everything happens at /account/revenue once you are signed in. Pick the company, type the amount, choose the month it covers, then press the button to report it.
The details
The month must not be in the future and must fall within the last two years. The proof link is for our staff only. Proof links must be public pages on https. Type the amount in US dollars; cents are optional.
Where it appears
No figure appears without its label, month and reporting date. The figure belongs to the company, not to one listing, so all of its listings show it. The figure is shown on your listing and in the revenue leaderboard.
Never mixed
Two kinds of figures, two tables: that is how /leaderboards/revenue keeps self-reported and verified revenue apart. Reporting revenue adds no votes and buys no position. A verified option is coming.
Keeping it current
A new figure replaces the old one, and Remove takes it off every page. Past figures remain in the listing's history.
