Shared details across all your listings
When the same company has a listing with you and on other launch and discovery sites, certain details are stored once and sync everywhere automatically. You do not need to update them twice.
These always match across every listing: company name, website, logo, homepage screenshot, long description, features, pricing, links, FAQs, milestones, screenshots, demo video, founders, your founder profile, founder story, team access, notification choices, billing and VAT number, and sign-in security.
Details you can keep different per site
Each site can have its own tagline, short description, SEO title and SEO description. You may also choose different additional categories for each listing.
When you save changes to these per-site details, the editor shows you a choice: push them to all your listings of the company, to this site only, or to specific sites you select from a tick list.
How to copy existing differences
On /account/listings, "Copy details" shows you which sites have different wording for tagline, short description or SEO text. You can copy this site's version to other listings you select.
Additional categories across sites
When you change additional categories, the same choice applies them to your other listings that also have the Additional categories add-on. Categories that a site does not have, or anything beyond its limit, are left out there and we tell you. A listing without the add-on is skipped; we never unlock features by copying.
What never syncs
Votes, reviews, rankings, launch weeks, Featured and sponsored placements, and badges and verification all stay separate to each site. On a free listing, paid profile sections stay locked until you upgrade.
Questions people ask
- Do I have to update every site separately?
- No. Changes to shared details like your long description sync everywhere at once. For per-site details like taglines, you choose whether to push changes to all listings, one only, or a selection you tick.
- What if a site can't be updated?
- Changes go live immediately. You'll get an email confirming each site updated. If one fails, we retry automatically and let you know if it still doesn't work.
- Can I copy wording from this site to my other listings?
- Yes. On /account/listings, use "Copy details" to see which sites have different taglines or SEO text, then select which listings to sync them to.
